The state government has taken a major decision in the interest of the public over the new Motor Vehicle Act. In which the state government has given huge relief to helmets, PUCs and licenses. The government has extended the date range for carrying helmets, PUCs and licenses. That is, the date for the PUC which was given till September 30 has now been increased and the concession on the helmet has also been relaxed.

It is ordered to buy the helmet by October 15. The helmet law has a 30-day concession. There is also an additional 15 days rebate for PUC withdrawal. All in the state however, from now on, two-wheeler vendors will have to give a mandatory helmet to a new customer. On the purchase of a two-wheeler, a helmet with ISI brand is ordered for free.

If the helmet is charged on the vehicle, strict action will be taken. Even if the officials break the rule, the prosecution will still have a hand. New PUC centers will also be opened in the state within 10 days. 900 new PUC centers will be opened in the state.
